I've been using an American Slingbox for the last 6 months and it is great! My parents bought it for themselves but really it's been a great thing for us since we don't actually have a TV here in Ireland. That being said when we were shopping for an ISP we struggled, as it seems most of them here do not supply unlimited bandwidth (and knowing that we had a slingbox to use that wasn't going to help us!). It will be interesting to see how streaming TV will start to affect (if at all) ISP's cost/service. Also i've been wondering how something like this affects a tv license in countries that require them. I was so excited to see a UK PAL version come out and have secretly been thinking how cool would it be to get one and have a friend hook it up at theirs for me.
