    hello everyone...
i am irish, my wife is taiwanese. we have travelled throughout europe and had only a few minor problems with embassies. we recently were charged 35 euros by the Dutch office (psuedo embassy) in Taiwan for a schengen visa. I have made a complaint to the embassy, the ministry of foreign affairs and the european ombudsman in holland. the dutch embassy and foreign office are sticking to their guns and the ombudsman is now (slowly) dealing with the case. we filled in the application form as required by a eu family member (questions marded with * not completed etc) and provided marriage certificate etc.

i'll keep you up to date.........
