    Yeah, I know :read:

    My family is coming from the US to London and Im looking for a good website that will tell me what electronics I can take (computers, televisions, etc.). Any advice?

    You will have problems with some DVD (zone 2 in Europe) except if you have a multi-zone reader. For the rest, the voltage is 230V but with plug adaptors you will be able to reuse most of your electronics (HiFi, computers...).

    You can buy one in the UK, so I think they are compatible. If you hav any doubt you can go to a retail shop and ask (for TV the most important is the signal. In France they use SECAM, in UK they use PAL I...etc. Modern TV are multi-compatible usually).

    The computer itself shouldn't be a problem. The power supply on most computers has a switch which will allow you to change between 110 and 220 (take a look at yours). The only thing you need to get is a new power cable or a conversion plug. If it is a laptop, the power supply "brick" will have the voltages it supports.
