    Hello everyone,

    I am a non EU country citizen(turkish), married with a polish who lives and works self employed in The Netherlands.She stayed longer than 4 years in the Netherlands .My wife is in the Netherlands now but does not have an DUTCH residency permit((verblijfsvergunning)). SHE IS working and paying taxes.
    i was once in holland with shengen visa before marriage. I'm planning to join her there. in last week i get residence permit for 1 year valid from poland. I LIVING IN POLAND.
    When checking with the Dutch consulate in poland warsaw they told me i need schengen visa and for that from nl someone need to send me invait paper.The Dutch Embassy (90 days period)
    My question is------ how i can entry to nl??
    my wife she have adress insurance and self employed a work in nl..i have insurance and work in pl .
    Is there anyone on this forum who has experience in this kind of situation or know what to do;
    We would be very grateful with any information .....

    Hi,

    It will be nice if you can cross check your wife's resident status in Holland.
    Its almost impossible for her to be in NL for 4 years without a resident permit(verblijfsvergunning).She must need a SOFI number(social security number) to be a tax payer.NL is not a soft touch country for immigration.

    I think the rules are the same to any EU country so this may be helpful

    I don’t know should you apply for Schengen Visa
    at NL embassy in Poland and if it is possible for you to get a work permit.
