Hi , im new , i just need your time for just a moment , you see i want to apply for a fiance visa , im hoping to live with my fiance who lives in the uk , im wanting to move over there and stay with him i love him so much and i cant wait to start a new life with him!.

I know all about how after i apply for the fiance visa, that within 6 months time i have to get married then apply for a marriage visa and after 2 years ill be able to work then after that i get granted a ILR (i think thats what its called) and so on and so forth (this is what ive been told anyway ) .
Im just wondering once i have the settlement forum wich i got online , where do i send it to , im from canada , but i was wondering if i could fill it out and hand it in during my visit in the uk ? ... or should i fill it out here in Hamilton ,Ontario,Canada.. but then where do i send it .. the settlement forum dose not tell me were to post it .. or am i having to go to an office and if so wich office do i hand it in to .
the closest city to where my fiance lives is Leicester...
could you help me please id be very greatful if you could ansure thease questions for us thanks a bunch! and if you cant ansure them then thats ok too . -monika

 

is the fiance and settlement visa the same thing ?
just wondering .. where in canada is the office .. ottowa ? . is there one in ontario ? ... where is this office in canada thats what im wondering in full .. sorry if im a bit of a bother ..

 

thanks , so i have to go threre and hand in my settlement application? .. or post it , dose the fiance visa get posted or handed in there as well ? the british high commission place in ottawa , will i have to get a hotel room and stay there cause i live in hamilton ontario
