hello, I live and work in paris and because I am lazy my French is not getting any better and my English is starting to come out garbled! I have a joke in English that makes me curl up laughing (it's strange but it doesn't seem to have the same efect on others) The problem is I find it totally impossible to translate in to French. So, please I am looking for a translator or an Englishman (oh heck, go for it Elizabeth, or Englishwoman) to laugh at my joke. Yes I know that perhaps it is possible to translate it in to French but nobody ever laughs! Please don't tell me that you don't even find it remotely funny in English.
