    hello i british and i have a Peruvian wife and we have a son who was born in Peru South America , he was issued a British Passport the same as i have ,my question is does he need a visa to come to the uk and if he does need a visa why does he need a visa when he is british?
    i was told at immigration at gatwick he does not need one yet the uk website says he does need a visa

    So I am editing the message and taking the chance to answer the post above: your son doesn´t need a visa to come to the UK at all, as he has a british passport.
    In which website did you get this information?
