Although founded in the 70s, WWOOF (stands for WorldWide Opportunities on Organic Farms) has seen its popularity skyrocketing recently as more people joined the programme, in connection with growing interest for environment and ecology.
The pandemic has made things more difficult in 2020 and 2021 but interest for nature and ecology has also raised during the period and more people are looking to experience an alternative, agricultural lifestyle.
