    Hello and welcome! :D

Are there any places that you can recommend to meet other expatriates in Ireland?

You might already have some experience of nightlife/happenings around there; can you give any advice for new comers who want to meet people and discover Ireland? Are there clubs, groups, or places that are helpful in meeting new people?

Thanks in advance for you tips and for sharing your experience!

Going out and meeting people in Ireland can be tricky, but totally doable if you work at it! If you're studying in Ireland, join one of the societies or athletic clubs at university to meet people. Also a lot of the universities will have a student bar, which is a great place to meet new people and attend events.

Also, as you go out to bars, pubs and clubs over time, you'll start to find your favourites. Once you do, go on Facebook and like their pages! The bars will post special events and ongoings, and those can be really great places to try to meet new people who are interested in the same things as you.

For the ladies, there is also a new app called HeyVINA. It's basically tinder, but for making friends! That could be worth a try.

Looking up expat hangouts is also another way to meet people.

Also, if you don't like tea, start drinking it and get over that. Irish people drink so much tea and you will be asked if you want a cuppa at some point or another. A chat over tea is an open door to friendship, so don't deny it!

Overall, Irish people are usually quite friendly and enjoy a great chat! Don't be afraid to reach out to people and step outside of your comfort zone. :D
