Im an Indian working for MNC Orange as technical engineer and wanted to apply for the UK tourist VISA for myselfy only.. I have all the supported documents with me to appy like 3years Income tax return, passport, leave sanction letter from employer but before i put my papers in uk consulate i need to know how much minimum money do i have to show in my bank account to show that i have enough money to spend my expenses as a tourist for 10days to 12 days in UK.

Also i have heared that If u deposit money in ur account recently then UK embassy make some issues to provide u visa as they come to know that u have lended money from some one and only deposited in ur account to get the VISA. So how old the money deposit transaction should be in ur bank account.

 

The money would be transferred from dad bank account to mine. and if i gave a statement to embassy that my dad is giving me a money to go to holiday then will dat do ? and how months prior the transaction should be before applying for the visa.. also how much money minimum shall i have to show to embassy.
