I would really appreciate some advice

Me and my husband married 2 years ago. My family are not aware of this, as my husband is already a married man and is also much older than me (18 years). However we really love each other, our relationship goes a long way back. He is living in Pakistan. I am a British citizen. How do I apply for him for settlement visa?I need him with me.

I have a full time job, I dont have much savings. I dont have a house, I am living with parents, however a friend is prepared to accomodate us in his house until we find our own accomodation

I dont have many pictures with us two together.I have all the chat conversations,, emails, phone record, calling cards. He also does not have a job, so i financially support him

Shall I just apply, what documents are most importanty needed?

    PLease any suggestions???

    Thank you

For accomodation, it would be better if you could arrange something of your own, even a one bedroom flat would be more than sufficient. Your friend's accomodation would provoke more questions from the ECO.

    Good luck

    thanks 4 ur reply.

my friend is hoping to put his house for rent, therefore if i was to live in that property and use it for the sponsor, a tenancy agreement would be provided.

Do you think that would that be ok?

    Thanks

If a tenancy agreement would be provided, then yes, thats enough.

    Good luck

    thanks for your reply

i am really sorry to be firing questions at you, its just i am new to all this.

do i need a solicitor to prepare my documents, or is it ok to do without a solicitor?

does the tenancy agreement need to include my partners name?

would an immigration inspection report need to be carried out?

would the landlord need to provide his house deeds?

is £3000 enough savings to show?

    thanks

No, you don't have to have a solicitor. I would rather say its a waste of money because your case is quite straight forward.

I don't think thats needed. I wouldn't do it as you are the sponsor so the contract should be in your name.

Don't know what do you mean by immigration inspection report ? that it has enough space for both of you ? Since its only two of you, even a one bedroom flat would be enough.

    Not needed.

    Yes should be enough.

    Good luck

i dont know why but i feel our case is complex

simply because of our age difference, the fact we dont have pictures together, and no proper housing arangement yet.

i know you said tenancy agreement should be fine, but i dont want to move into that property until my husband comes. the landlord is willing to wait, as i have paid the security deposit.but do i actually need to have bills on my name to show i live there?

does my partner have to show bank statements etc?
also what happens if it gets rejected?

you really have been a great help. thank you for getting back to me
