on the 30th of october 2007 me and the missus submitted our applications to the home office her-eea1 and me -eea2 as a joint application enclosing everything they asked for including our marriage certificate letter and contract of work from her employer stating she had been working for them or more than a year.
everything except my passport(i had made an application for leave to remain in 2003 when i was a student but the application was refused in april 2006 and they did not return my passport but instead sent me a letter explaining why they refused the application and a notice to a person liable to removal)
on the 3rd of december 2007 we got a letter back from the caseworker asking for more payslips from the previous job and other documentation which we posted to him the following day with a letter xplaining to him abt my passport giving him all the necessary reference numbers .
but today the caseworker just phoned my missus today asking about the previous job asking why the name where she worked is diferent from the company name on the payslip saying he was confused and that was delaying the application.
now im confused as why the caseworker should be confused when he has all the documents showing my wife has been working in england since june 2005, she has a worker registration certificate from the previous employer is he not just holding up our application or what should we write a letter complaining to the home office
    any advice is welcomed

    yep

i started the application in 2002 when i was still a student and was given a prospective student visa for 6months instead of a year when i returned the passport for the same application in 2003 they took 3 years to decide on it only to refuse it on the grounds that i wasnt a student anymore therefore i had to go back to my country and didnt return my passport
