    please can any one advice me

    i HAVE BEEN IN THE UK FOR 8 YEARS NOW
    I FIRST COME HERE IN JUNE 2000 WHEN I GET TO DA UK I DID APPLY FOR ASULYM
    AFTER 6 MONTHS THE HO DID IUSSE ME WITH FREE WORK PERMIT .
    AND AFTER 3 YEARS MY CASE WAS REJECTED .
    IN 2005 I GOT MARRIED WITH ITALIAN WIFE AND SHE HAS BEEN HERE SINCE DEC 2003
    WORKING UNTILL TODAY .
    WE GET 5 YEARS STAMP RISDENCY IN 01/2006
    AND WILL EXPIRY ON 01/2011 .
    THE QOUITION IS CAN SHE APPLY FOR PR AS LONG SHE HAS BEEN WORKING FOR 5 YEARS EXACTLY IN DEC 2008
    and do i have to pass test in the uk ? AS I M NON EAA FAMILY MAMBER?
    AND IF SHE CAN APPLY CAN I BE APPLY AS WELL AND MY WORK HISTORY IN UK CAN IT HELP ME i have EVRY THING SINCE 2000.

    She can apply for permanent residence 5 years after she came to the UK. And if she visited the UK before December 2003, she may be able to start counting from then under certain conditions.

    No, your time starts when you moved together with your wife. This can be before the marriage, and you will not need to take a test. The time before that does not count, because you were not here under European law.

    In the end, as long as you stay in the UK, permanent residence does not give you much more freedom than you already have. You can get divorced (after 3 years of marriage), you can have access to public funds, and you can take any employment you like.

    I guess he cannot have any access to public funds if you get divorce b4 you get your ilr or p. R

    Also the go they start counting the 5 years from the date they stamp your pasport and you can apply 28 days b4 the five years expire.

    please can you make clear to me this point
    if my wife get wright for ilr can i qualified automatically as depended on my wife .
    and i get to know my wife in 2004 we get married in march 2005
    is my time towards my pr start after i get married in 2005 or when i meet her in 2004 ?
    some friends told me thats i can apply 6 months b4 my 5 years ends for pr is it true?
