Hi All

I am a German passport holder living in the UK. My husband, who is a South African citizen with South African passport, has his UK 5 year residence permit.
I am not sure if he needs a Schengen Visa to travel to Schengen countries. If he does, where would we apply as there are a few places we would like to visit? We do not know which will be the first country either as we have family and friends dotted around all over the place.
