I am a senior leader with over 25 years of retail experience, I have proven success in both company owned and franchise brand building businesses. I led high performance teams that worked across multi-channel retail platforms (offline, online, franchise, wholesale, and licensed products). The past 21 years have equipped me with the skills to become a senior leader and executive manager. My experience is vast; I have served on the board and been an Executive Director for the past 21 years; brand ownership and management of quick service restaurant, casual dining concepts, company ownership of retail stores, franchising, international licensed brands (Domino's & Starbucks), manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, retail luxury stores (NWJ, Arthur Kaplan and World's Finest Watches), concession management (Edgars stores). I have proven success in both company owned and franchise brand building businesses.
My main work focus has been the management of retail, wholesale and distribution and manufacturing operations. The tasks involved in the management of these operations are complex and with my focus, continuous insights, and analysis, I excel in the process of sales improvement and growth, increasing gross margins, increasing profits, optimising supply chain opportunities, thereby improving the inventory turn and working capital cycle.
My preference is for a senior leadership role within the consumer retail, consumer manufacturing, wholesale and distribution and retail/e-commerce sectors; however, I am flexible around options and opportunities.
