    You are living abroad, or you used to live abroad. How did you decide to move abroad?

    Help the community and share your experience abroad. :idea:

    Was it a difficult move? Was it complicated to find a job abroad? To find an accommodation abroad?

    Did you have some visa/immigration issue to go abroad? Or maybe everything was organised by your company for professional move?

    Depending on what you seek, where you choose to live and whether you're concerned with standing out or blending in in your chosen locale, your experiences may vary widely. I lived in Latin America for several years, and have spent much time in Europe and Asia as well. In my experience, motivation and necessity are a big factor in the level of immersion, or assimilation, as it were, and the local environment may dictate how one is perceived in any given place.

    Thanks for sharing Adolf12. It seems that you've been a serial expat if you've lived in South America, Europe and Asia already.And you're back to India now (according to your profile). What motivation to stop working abroad?

    Why you stop working in abroad.
