I lived in the USA most of my life but had always, it seems, wanted to live abroad. Originally from Massachusetts, I wandered from career to career including journalism with a concentration in crime reporting (courts); shop keeping (The Bow Street Candle & Mug, Portsmouth, N.H.); teaching in high schools and writing novels in NYC; and finally writing novels and blogging in Thailand to where my wife and I and our two dogs relocated in 2015.
