Assistant English Regional Manager Internship

Manawa is a start-up company founded in 2016. It is the leading marketplace/booking platform for outdoor sports activities, with more than 6,500 curated activities which can be booked in more than 30 countries in Europe, Africa, and Oceania.
Manawa is particularly active in Europe, the Nordics, South Africa, and New Zealand where we
work with more than 500 professional partners.
This internship position will allow you to be involved in all aspects of managing and
growing Manawa's business under the leadership of the English Regional Manager. Thorough training in all aspects of digital marketing (including SEO, SEA, Affiliation) as well as managing data at scale will be provided at the start of the internship.
Mission
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the English Regional Manager, you will have 4 primary roles:
Customer Service (40%)
manage bookings and handle incoming customer requests via email, chat, and phone
Account Management (30%)
update prices, seasons, and required documentation for our activity providers
Content Integration (15%)
publish new activities on our website (source images, activity description, activity details, prices, seasons, etc.)
Sales and Marketing (15%)
sales/marketing strategy and maintenance in respective countries/languages in order to maximize the efficiency of the growth strategy
Compensation is 850€/month + meal vouchers
Profil recherché
REQUIREMENTS
• You speak perfect English with excellent writing/grammar skills, and speak French too
• Another language is a plus (German preferred)
• Personable and able to understand client-facing problems
• You possess strong attention to detail and organization skills
• You can navigate multiple tasks and programs on a computer efficiently
• You are motivated and proactive - a high initiative
• You are curious and aware of new trends in the travel/tourism industry
• You love outdoor sports, adventure, and travel
