10. Sunway Lagoon in Malaysia

This is the biggest water park in Malaysia. Near Kuala Lumpur, this expansive park is divided into the World of Adventure, Waters of Africa and Wild Wild West. There is more than six thousand tons of real sand, palm trees, and extreme activities like paintball, ATV riding, and wildlife zone.

9. Vivaldi Park Ocean World in South Korea

Vivaldi Park Ocean World is located within a complex that offers skiing, golfing, and more. Designed to resemble a watery oasis in the middle of a dessert, the park has a wave pool, water massage system, tube rafting, a 45-degree high-speed water slide, and more. One of the highlights is an extreme river featuring high waves and strong currents.

8. World Water Park in Edmonton, Canada

Located within one of the largest shopping malls in the world, this epic indoor water park maintains a consistent 86 degrees Fahrenheit. It has the largest indoor wave pool in the world and slides that reach up to 85 feet. With names like the Sky Screamer, Tropical Typhoon and Nessie's Revenge, swimmers enjoy the thrills year-round.

7. Schlitterbahn in Texas, USA

Schlitterbahn is the largest water park in the "bigger is better state" of Texas. This is the first water park ever opened in America and has rapidly expanded throughout the years to include water parks in Kansas City, Kansas, Galveston and South Padre, Texas.

6. Chimelong Water Park in China

Situated in Guangzhou, Chimelong has the world's largest wave pool, longest lazy river and a massive Behemoth Bowl. Dizzying colors accompany the bowl ride which allows four riders to sit facing each other in a tube, drop 20 meters into a gigantic bowl, and let the centrifugal force drive them rapidly in dizzying circles until they're dropped down a central chute into a waiting pool.

Among the many pleasures of Cancun there lies this tropical water park. Among the bumper boats, wave pools and towering slides and rides, the park is unique in offering swimming with dolphins.

Part of the Wet 'n Wild waterpark chain, this is the largest park in Australia. Open all year, the park is located in situated in Oxenford, Gold Coast and is adjacent to Warner Brothers Movie World. It features the Extreme H2O Zone with the Kamikaze (U-shaped half pipe slide), the Tornado (four person clover-leaf funnel slide), the Blackhole (enclosed interlocking tube slide), and the Mach 5 (water slide complex).

The United States's largest water park spans 70 acres. Nostalgic 50's charm encompasses two wave pools, two rivers, a lagoon pool, four children's play areas and more than 60 impressive slides make up the park. The Scorpion's Tail has been voted the number 1 Thrill Ride in the world. It is a 10-storey, nearly vertical slide that drops adventurers more than 50 feet per second.
