Hotels and Bed and Breakfast in Doha

Doha has a large and vibrant hotel scene, as it strives to compete with other cosmopolitan Middle Eastern cities such as Dubai. There are between 90 and 120 hotels in Doha. Most hotels in the city have extra amenities, such as pools, water sports facilities, spas, and restaurants.

There are also many resort options. Look for luxury accommodations in West Bay lagoon or intimate bungalows at Mesaieed.

The average price range is 450-900 QR per night. There are few budget hotels in Doha, but there are many luxury and ultra-luxury options.

Desert Camping in Qatar

Tour operators often organize overnight camping in the desert for visitors and expats. This is a truly unique experience that offers a poetic glimpse into Arabic nights. Enjoy drinks, traditional Arabic food and a mystical atmosphere. Transportation is usually required in the tour package and should be 4x4.

B&B in Doha

B&B's are relatively rare in Doha. You can find them by looking on popular booking web sites, but hotels are much more common in the city, given the relatively young age of its hospitality industry and the building boom in the city.

To get a similar experience to staying in a B&B in Doha you may have better luck searching for a short-term accommodation rental, through P2P services such as Airbnb.
