Peruvian international schools are centred in Lima, although there are several international schools around the country. Many schools provide the International Baccalaureate Organization.  

As described above: the IB is divided into three programmes covering the following age ranges:

• Primary Years Programme (PYP) ages 3-12
• Middle Years Programme (MYP) ages 11-16
• Diploma Programme (DP) ages 16-19
• Professional Guidance Program (CP) ages 16-19 – It has its own evaluation system and extends one year more than the traditional secondary.
