International Schools


The Republic of Ireland's small international school sector is centred on Dublin. There are schools offering the curriculums of France, Germany, and the International Baccalaureate Office as well as a cluster of Montessori primary schools and kindergartens.

IB World Schools in Dublin

There are three fully-accredited, IB World Schools in Dublin that cover the range from pre-school to secondary school education. These offer a range of qualifications like International Baccalaureate or American SAT. The IB programme is taught under the supervision of the International Baccalaureate Organisation. All students study languages, social science, experimental science, mathematics, and arts.

The English-medium St Andrew's College is authorised to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma.

International School of Dublin
The International School of Dublin has been operating since 2007 and in 2010 was accredited as an International Baccalaureate (IB) primary school. It currently has 55 students from 13 countries including Ireland enrolled in 5 classes. The school is investigating expanding into the Middle years programme in 2012. www.internationalschooldublin.ie
