The Irish Post is known as An Post which translates to "The Post". It is the State-owned provider of postal services in Ireland.

Ireland's post delivers at least one collection and one delivery five working days a week from Monday to Friday). It delivers postal packets weighing up to 2kgs and parcels weighing up to 20 kg.

A number of other services are also available:

Current domestic letter rates for up to 100g within Ireland is €1. Prices for standard international letter rates up to 100g is €1.35.
