In Dublin, cinema ticket prices for an adult are approximately €9, or €6 for kids and students. The cheapest tickets are sold for screenings on workdays, whereas 3D movies and the weekends are the most expensive.

Cinemas in Dublin

  • Irish Film Institute: In Temple Bar, this is a non-profit organization
  • Meeting House Square: In Temple Bar's heart
  • Brooks Private Cinema: Located in Brooks hotel, the Cinema is available for hire for functions and events. The room can accommodate up to 26 guests and is the perfect venue for a truly unique event.
  • Movies@Dundrum: A luxury multiplex cinema located in Dundrum Town Centre. They offer screenings in dazzling Real3D in all 12 screens, which are also equipped with Dolby Digital sound, to create a more immersive viewing experience.

Nightclubs

Dublin's nightclub hot spots are located in the city center. Its many venues cater to a wide range of music tastes and atmospheres.

Locals usually hit the bars first and then head to the club towards midnight. Clubs usually open around 10pm, stop serving at 2:30am and close at 3am.
