As of April 2007, India has 167 million mobile phone subscribers. Out of this, 125  million are GSM users.

Needless to say, Delhi has a number of GSM providers to choose from. Key among them are state-owned MTNL, Vodafone Essar, Airtel, Idea cellular, Reliance Infocomm and Tata Indicom.
