Nicosia

 Accommodation

Hotels and Bed and Breakfast

There are few hostels in Nicosia, thanks to the greater purchasing power of both the locals and the average tourist who visits Cyprus. However, you can still find plenty of options when it comes to accommodation, from cheap, simple rooms to 5-star luxury resorts and business hotels.

Advance reservations are recommended, especially if you are booking a hotel in the summer months, which is peak tourist season in Cyprus.

B&B in Nicosia

There are quite a few Bed and Breakfasts in Nicosia, thanks to the tradition of Greek hospitality that permeates Cypriot culture. Many families will rent out extra rooms or turn large buildings into charming B& B. The average price of a room at a B&B is between 50 and 80 Euros a night, though this depends on a lot on the hotel's location and amenities, as well as the time of year.

Hotels in Nicosia

Nicosia has all types of hotels, ranging from charming boutique inns to luxurious modern business hotels, and even top of the line chains, as Nicosia is home to several Hilton properties.

You can expect to pay anywhere from 80 to 300 Euros a night for a hotel in Nicosia, depending on the type of accommodation and amenities you seek. Once again, the closer you are to Cyprus' peak tourist season in the summer months, the more expensive hotel prices will be.

Hostels in Nicosia

Nicosia does not have a large selection of hostels, as most accommodation in the city is from the mid-range to luxury category. However, there are a few hostels available with private rooms ranging from 25 Euros to 50 Euros a night.

At Nicosia hostels, you can expect simple, clean and comfortable accommodation with few frills.
