Taking a course is an excellent way to improve your skills, while at the same time allowing you to make friends and blend in if you're an expat. Bogota has a plethora of options if you'd like to practice and old hobby or take up a new one. Spanish may be needed for many of them, but it is by no means an obstacle. 
Most classes are offered by independent cultural centers and companies, but it is also common for institutions to organize educational events for adults.

Art

CasaTinta
An independently-run cultural hub specialized in drawing, illustration and design. Fine art classes and workshops are given in the form of learning cycles, by level and technique.
Talentos Escuela de Arte
An art school in the North of the city, that offers art classes for children, teenagers and adults. 
Cooperartes
A gallery/workshop/studio run by artists, that offers drawing, painting and pottery classes to children and adults.
Meraki
Art classes for children and adults, using an innovative approach that combines art and personal transformation.

Dance

World-famous for its dancing culture, Colombia is the best place if you want to learn how to move your body with style. Bogota has a wide range of dance academies, most of them specialized in salsa, bachata or other latin dances, but other classes are also widely available. You will probably prefer the dance academy nearest to you, as there are plenty of them in most neighborhoods.

A dancing school specialized in Cali-style salsa, probably the most difficult and certainly the most well-know salsa style that has come from Colombia. 
Imperio Latino
Salsa and urban dances in the Teusaquillo neighborhood just north of the center.
Ritmo Vivo
A wide array of classes, from pole dance to Arab dances and ballet, in the south of the city.
Paso Latino
One of the most well-known and popular latin dance academies in Bogota. Classes are excellent, and the level is high.
Ile Danza
A well-known and popular dance academy close to some of the best party spots. Specialized in a variety of Cuban dances.
Golden Dance & Cheer Academy

Cooking

Instituto Superior Mariano Moreno
Bogota's top reference when it comes to gastronomy courses. Directed especially to future chefs,, the Institute also offers short-term classes and workshops on a variety of topics from Mexican cuisine to street food.
Gato Dumas
Classes for cooking professionals and amateurs alike on topics such as basics of cooking, Colombian cuisine, pastry, but also wine-tasting, barista and bartending.
La Cocina Taller
An elegant space offering cooking workshops and catering services in the North of the city.
Myriam Camhi
Pastry classes in one of the top confectionery stores in the city.
Bogota PopUps
Organizing mostly underground dining events that bring strangers together, this company occasionally also offers cooking workshops with the chef of the month. An excellent opportunity to socialize.
