Opera in Sofia

The National Opera and Ballet of Bulgaria is the hosts many well-known singers and performers. The building was established in 1908 and has had thousands of performances. The building is beautiful with a stunning façade out front and is located in the downtown area of Sofia. The opera now has many young and up and coming singers perform there, which attracts a younger audience.

Orchestra in Sofia

Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra is the most popular orchestra in Bulgaria and was founded in 1928. There have been hundreds of performances over the years and there is also a concert hall and an art gallery inside the building. The Sofia Philharmonic other performs there along with many other well-known singers.

Museums in Sofia

The oldest and largest museums in Bulgaria are found in Sofia. They have many amazing parts of history in each one such as Thracian gold and silver treasures that were discovered in Bulgaria.
