Sports in Bulgaria

Bulgarians have always been connected to sports and are very athletic. Many competitions have been held in Bulgaria since the middle ages. Back then Bulgarians were horse riders, athletes, and wrestlers. Throughout the years Bulgarians have won their fame through competitions for weightlifting, gymnastics, volleyball, martial arm, wrestling, boxing, and more.
