Canada: Do I need a visa to enter?
If you hold a passport or permanent resident status for any one of the countries or regions listed below, you do not need a visa to visit Canada for short visits.

In addition, persons lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence who are in possession of their alien registration card (Green card) or can provide other evidence of permanent residence; British citizens and British Overseas Citizens who are re-admissible to the United Kingdom; citizens of British dependent territories who derive their citizenship through birth, descent, registration or naturalization in one of the British dependent territories of Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Gibraltar, Montserrat, Pitcairn, St. Helena or the Turks and Caicos Islands; British (Overseas) Passport holders born, naturalized or registered in Hong Kong.
In some cases, passports must contain biometric chips that store personal information about the passport holder such as name, photograph, date of birth and fingerprint images. The length of time you may stay in Canada without a visa varies according to your country of origin and other factors, however, in most cases you may stay for up to six months.
