A very popular Israeli summer job is working on a kibbutz. A kibbutz is a kind of community compound, with its own shops and land, and is unique to Israel. You’ll be paid next to nothing but food and basic accommodation will be provided. The main attraction is the chance to get physically fit working and sweating under the hot Israeli sun and most of all meeting interesting people from all over the world.
