If you are a member of the European Union:

    - You don’t have any particular custom forms to complete when you move to France,

In any other country, you must give to the custom office:

    • A detailed inventory with date and signature, of all your furniture.
    • All document justifying the move (passport, work contract…)
    • A form (Cerfa #10070*01) for a declaration of entry in France (you will find the form in any customs office or on the Internet) and if you import valuable things and/or a vehicle.

The consulate or embassy will provide more information.

The custom office will give you:

    • A sign form of the inventory
    • A certification 846 A for your vehicle
    • On demand, a free circulation card.
