    Gas, Electricity, Water

    Last update: 10/11/2003

The most current means of heating are gas, electricity and fuel.

For utilities in NYC: http://www.panix.com/clay/nyc/query.cgi?U1 You don't have to pay for heat and water as it is included in the bill. You only have to pay for electricity which can be a killer because that includes air conditioning in the summer)

Note that electricity is 110 volts (220 for certain devices), 60 periods, running monophase, with plugs of American type in two flat broches.
