Milan: Moving / Gas, Electricity, Water

    Gas, Electricity, Water

    Last update: 2/10/2004

    Gas

Heating may be centralized so it adds on to the condo fees. Otherwise, you'll get billed by the gas company anyhow depending on the use (it adds on to cooking gas and comes all in one bill).

    Electricity

The electrical voltage in Italy is 220V / 50 cycles, so depending on your appliances you may be able to buy adaptors to convert them or it may not be worth the expense and cheaper and safer to purchase new ones when you arrive.
