Miami: Moving / Gas, Electricity, Water

    Gas, Electricity, Water

    Last update: 13/06/2008

As gas is forbidden by most condominium associations, electricity is the principal means of heating and air-conditioning in condos and private houses.

Heating costs are minimal considering the average temperature seldom drops below 50°F and temperatures range between 70°F and 85°F in the winter and 96°F to 100°F in the summer. The cost of air-conditioning the average 2 bed/2 bath condo all day runs between $150 to $200/month. Electricity costs run an average of $30 excluding air-conditioning.
