Often your company will provide you with a benefits package. This will group some of such items as: a private health insurance (medical, dental, long term care, vision), life, accidental death and dismemberment, disability.

The value of a good plan is about £3500. A lot of company provide also a “Territorial Allowance” for people working in certain area and is usually negotiated with Unions at about £3000 for London.
