    Hello,

I have recently graduated as a medical doctor in the Netherlands. After an elective in Johannesburg I am looking to go back to South Africa to work as a doctor and/or specialise. I know I'll have to register with the HPCSA but this is all i can find. Has anyone got any more information on how to do this?

    Thank you :)

A good start to the info you need is the Guide to Johannesburg. It covers info on finding work, health care, visas & more. I would also recommend reaching out to expats in the area through the expat blogs in South Africa.

Does anyone have more specific info on working as a doctor in South Africa?
