    Hello all!
I am considering visiting Lisbon for Christmas and am wondering if anyone has vacationed there at that time, or has tips/blog posts for the city. I've really enjoyed reading some of the expat blog posts for Portugal, but thought I would check in the forum for some advice as well.

I understand things will probably be closed down on most of the 24th & 25th, but will some things be open on the 26th? And will they be closed even the morning of the 24th? We may arrive on that Saturday, so I want to be sure we can buy some supplies before everything shuts down.

Also - any traditions/happenings we should participate in? We are expats in Berlin and have really enjoyed going to midnight mass on the 24th here. Is there a place we could do that in Lisbon and not intrude?

Thanks for any tips or info. :D
