My partner and I are compiling our supporting documents to apply for the EEA Family Permit. We are due to be married in Dublin early next year. I would be grateful for clarification on what documents will be required from self-employed EEA Citizens currently living and working in the UK.

My partner is Irish and has lived and worked on a self employed basis in the UK for years. He has had the same chartered acccountant for over 10 years doing his tax returns and accounting.

I have contacted UKVisas but keep getting conflicting pieces of information regarding what documents needs to be submitted as proof of adequate funds for self employed EEA Citizens. I was told that six months worth of bank statements plus evidence of account/tax returns. Is this correct?

As we would be submitting the application for the EEA Family permit prior to the end of this tax year, there is a possibility that the my partners accountant may still be collating his accounts at the time of our application for the EEA Family Permit. Therefore his accounts would be incomplete..If this turns out the be the case, would a letter from my partners accountant suffice stating accounts/tax returns contribution is in process or something to that effect?
