URGENT QUESTION RE :Schengen Visa/France

Hi all

can someone please advice on schengen visa's. I intend to travel to France, i have a valid schengen visa issued by the Spanish Embassy. I had travelled to Spain before with me previous schengen visa, i obtained a new schengen visa and my first trip would be to France . Will this be permitted by the french aouthorities? :?:
