I married a citizen of the UK in Nov of '06; we have lived together in England since Dec of 06. I'd like to attend University, but I don't know how to start. I don't even know what I am classed as, i.e. home student, international, or other?
I'd appreciate any advice. There really isn't a lot of information on the net and I am at a loss. Also, does anyone have any links for Americans living in the UK? It would be lovely to be able to chat to other Americans in England. Thanks in advance.

What kind of visa do you have?

I have a two year spouse visa. Part of the visa says "no recourse to public funds". I understand that this means I must pay tuition expenses myself, but I'm not clear whether I have to pay the full international fee, home fee, or other.

That was a very informative link, thank you. Foreign spouses of UK citizens can attend University, but have to pay international tuition fees, unless they are settled and have been in the country for three years, or have already received an undergraduate degree and are seeking a post graduation degree.
