Hi everyone!

I'd like to be included in any meet-ups you've got planned.

I'm English and have been in Milan for a few months and would love to make some new friends here.

I'm not an estate agent by the way!

Looking forward to meeting you all

How about next week or the week after?

I'll email everyone who has put their email address this on here this week sometime to let you know when and where it-s going to be.

Not all of you have put your email addresses on, so if you-d like to tag along, please let me know and I'll include you

I won't be able to make next week....we are out of Milan for a while, so even though I don't come this time please don't write us of for future things!

Its been a mad couple of months, with flat searching taking up 90% of free time, and work functions the rest, but we finally got to put a deposit on something yesterday and so when we are back in Milan will be around more for social stuff.

Also those who I have been in email contact with sound lovely, (if I haven't replied to anyone its just been a time issue, I apologise) and my husband and I met Andreas for a meal and he is a great guy.... I am sure you will have a good evening.

Re: New to Milan

Postby crybaby01 » Sat Aug 28, 2010 7:17 pm

Hi everyone!

I just got here in Milan on Aug 3 of this year. My first reaction when I read this thread was: "Thank goodness! I finally found people who speak English in Milan." I was so excited and reading the whole thread and getting ready for my comments, thinking and hoping I could join you all in your upcoming meeting. Then I noticed the date of these posts. 2006?!?! Good Lord! I felt like I was up in a tree and had almost reached the fruits, but the branch I am stepping on suddenly broke...of course I fell. LOL! Probably the people who posted their replies here are already fluent in Italian and I bet you guys barely speak in English now.

Now I'm back to square one. :(

Hi I can see you are new here, if you want some help for something you can contact me if you wish. I am here since 1 year (just outside Milan), I am 27 and am working here.
Yes discussion is sure to be old, I was the same when I saw the year ...
and don't worry I am fluent English but with a strong accent!
