    Hi All,

Next year I will be moving to Shanghai for at least a year.
My office will be in Minhang about 6km from xinzhuang station and 5km from the nearest line 5 metro station. It will be about 12km from Xuijahui, the place where I would like to live.

If I plan my route on biadu maps it says it will take an hour and 15 minutes to get there by public transport. Thats metro and bus and even then still a bit of walking.
If I plan the route with a bicycle it says it will take an hour and 18 mins.
Its only 12-13km (thats not even 10km/h). How can it be that long to get there?

Is Baidu maps correct on travel time?
My plan was to live in xuijahui and get a scooter to travel to work.
I was guessing 40-45mins to do the 12-13km, is this unrealistic?
If it take over an hour I rather live in Xinzhuang.

    Can someone give advice/comment??
