Hi Short intro: George, male, Dutch, international coach driver/guide. I have a contract with a Norwegian (Oslo) employer from mid-May until 1st November 2018. Will be on tour for periods of 8 to 12 days. After the tour I am required to take a mandatory rest period of 45 hours. (No driving) There is a more than reasonable chance that this rest period will not be taken in Norway at all because the tour will start and end outside Norway. Basically I "need" an D-form address. Do I really need an address in Norway? If yes, what possibilities do I have if I hardly ever will use this address as a place to stay/sleep? All advice and or options are welcome, Thanks in advance Regards George
Hello @DriveorDive I don't understand why you need an address in Norway if you don't live in Norway. Is it for tax purposes? (in that case it is more complicated because it depends of how many days/year you spend in Norway).
Hello @dounia989 You should have a look at our Classifieds section (you can even post your search if you don't find anything). We have compiled some advice and links in our guide for expatriation to Oslo here: http://www.easyexpat.com/en/guides/norway/oslo/accommodation/finding-accommodation.htm
