Securing accommodation in Sweden is not that much easy for expats as the standard of housing here is very high. The prices in large cities like Stockholm are much higher than in rural or suburban areas.Local newspapers, estate agencies and personal contacts can help to find accommodation in Sweden. The better option is to contact another expat who is living since many years in Sweden and take his help.

A tip for finding a place to rent is to visit this website. http://www.renthia.com.
Here you can find plenty of available properties for rent. Without having to pay to see the properties as some sites have.

Good luck and welcome to Sweden.

Check out http://homii.se that helps out to find a place through your social network. Even if you have a small network in Stockholm, Homii looks further in your friends networks in several degrees.

    I hope this helps, cheers!
