    Hi all,

I am new in Copenhagen, I found an apartment (a rental) recently and I am not totally sure about the termination conditions. In my rental contract, there is one year of fixed period. But, if I leave my job and come back to my country before, it is not possible to terminate the contract during this fixed period of one year ? So, I will pay for one year even if I don't use the apartment anymore?
Thanks a lot for your help.
    Regards,

Sorry for the late response. i assume you found the solution since then (feel free to share).
In theory you could have negotiated a breaking clause in your contract, i.e. 1 year contract but a breaking clause of 6 months means you can leave after 6 months (with 1 month notice).

We have some information about renting in CPH in our guide article: http://www.easyexpat.com/en/guides/denm ... e-flat.htm
