Taxes in Thailand

Postby texkourgan » Sat Jun 22, 2013 9:39 am

Hello!

When working and/or living abroad, it is usually necessary to pay taxes in that country.

Do you pay taxes in Thailand? What are the main types of taxes (direct and indirect taxes)? What is the tax rate? Do you consider taxes high, low, or fair?

Is it necessary to report at certain times of the year in Thailand ? Are taxes deducted at the source?

Are there any dual tax agreements between Thailand and your country? :?

Thank you for sharing your tips, questions and advice!

The United States Thailand Tax Service Bangkok office is opening now. The firm is focused on assisting U.S expatriates, with U.S Tax consulting, and return preparation where there is a connection with either the United States, Thailand, Australia. and/or New Zealand. While the IRS does not have offices in Thailand, we serve clients all over Thailand.
