Are you looking to work for a private company? I would recommend contacting tour companies directly to find out what they require. This will give you an idea of standards and requirements.

I would also recommend contacting expats directly through the network (once you have made a few posts to prevent spam). Or you can check out expat blogs in Italy and see if anyone has advice.
