It can be difficult to find the best place to live in a new city. This is even more difficult for an expat who is not familiar with the country and culture. So where is the best place to live in Istanbul?

What do you look for in a neighborhood? What do different neighborhoods offer? What area would you recommend based on:
    - Schools
    - Transportation
    - Access to shops and groceries
    - Nightlife and Activities

Where do you live? What do you like about it? Are there any dangerous areas? Are some areas more affordable?

Thank you in advance for your contribution. This is a very common question for expats moving to Istanbul and your help is much appreciated.

    Hi,

I am new to this website actually. But I would be happy to share with you some ideas if needed.

Istanbul is a huge city with 17 millions of population and it is hard to say where the city center is. You can think that there are many centers as each district can be considered as one.

For me the best option is to find your apartment as close as possible to your work to avoid the huge daily traffic in rush hours.

Sometimes, it can be a big headache for foreigners that look for apartments to rent as it is hard to find English speakers. My company is specialized in this business. We make ready to move apartments in prime locations for expats with all furnitures needed.

Besides this, I can give recommendations if you have any questions here.

    Can
