    Hello dear people!
I am a Dutch woman, 27 years old, English teacher who loves to travel. Now I really would like to build my future in Istanbul. I have been travalling to a lot of countries and lived in Morocco for a while. I taught English to Moroccan and French kids/teenager. It was a beautiful experience! At the moment I am really focussing on a teaching job in Istanbul. I know how important it is to build up a network, so via this way I would like to meet people who live in Istanbul and who would like to give me advise/tips/tricks about teaching English in this beautiful city.

    Thank you so much!
    Warm regards, Sammy-Liz Butler

Hello Sammy-Liz! The best place for you to start is with the Expat Guide to Istanbul. It offers info on finding work in Turkey.

As far as growing your network in Turkey, the expat network is the perfect way to connect, but you need to make several posts first to be able to use it (to prevent spam). You can also connect with expats in the area through expat blogs in Turkey.

Anyone else in Istanbul or have tips?

Thank you for you message! I thought I wrote on the Turkish forum.. Hmm, will check out whether that's really true. Have you lived in Turkey?

I will write a few more messages on the forum.

    Thank you for the tips!

Yes, tell us about your experience as an expat in Istanbul :)

An also I would recommend to put a photo in your profile. It is nicer and gives more visibility to your message :)
